Music Fest events are held each Saturday at 7:15 PM in the Tabernacle beginning July 4th weekend running through Labor Day weekend. Concerts are FREE. A good will offering is taken at each event.
Summer 2023 Events
- July 1st, Van Wagner. Van is a wonderful vocalist/guitarist. His music has been featured on the History Channel, WVIA tv, Country Music Television (CMT), and in several film productions. He has released 31 original albums and published a book entitle “Coal Dust Rust and Saw Dust.” His music and programs not only entertain but inspire audiences to become involved in learning more.
- July 8th, Raven Creek. Raven Creek has been appearing at the Grove for decades and we are thrilled to have them back.
- July 15th, Jessie & Friends. You asked for Jessie & Friends to come back earlier in the season. “We Are Listening!”
- July 22nd, Freedom Calls. Normally a full praise/worship band, they will be appearing as an acoustic duo featuring Mandy Yaple and Chris Barnes.
- August 12th, Catawissa Military Band. This Big Band favorite has also been to the Grove for decades.
- August 19th, Cadillac Cats. New this year, plan to attend and enjoy some good old blues.
- August 26th, Bret Alexander. Bret is a wonderful vocalist/guitarist. If you remember the Badlees, you will remember Bret; they were inducted into the Central Pennsylvania Music Hall Of Fame in July 2021. The Badlees released its latest, self-titled album in December 2022. Bret’s solo act is sure to be a hit.
- September 2nd, Hymn Sing. Gary DeSanto (song leader) and Brenda Nighbert (pianist) are thrilled to offer this night, inspired by requests from those in attendance.
