Pastor David Duty
Evangelist, July 19–July 25

David Duty, a cottage holder for decades, married into the Patterson Grove family many years ago.  Holding master’s degrees in both theology and music, he has taught the Bible and conducted choirs for more than 30 years.  
He currently serves as pastor of Providence Community Church and choir director at Ulrich Intermediate School in the greater Houston area.

Pastor Greg Stokes
Evangelist, July 26–August 1

Pastor Greg Stokes and his wife of 26 years, JoAnn, return to Patterson Grove this year, coming from Pen Argyl, PA where he has served as Lead Pastor for 6 years.  Pastor Greg became a Christian at 12 and was called to ministry at 15.  He graduated from Bible College in 1993 and has served in many ministries including youth ministry, addiction counseling, and college campus ministry.  Pastor Greg’s desire is to share His word in such a way that people may see Jesus as they never have, to live for Him as they always should.

Gary Boyer
Service/Song Leader
July 19–25

A lifelong musician, Gary has served in church music ministry for many years and has been a music director in several churches since 1980.  He currently serves as Music Director at Victory Baptist Bible Church in Lehman, Pennsylvania. With training in piano, vocal music, oratorio, and opera, he has also shared his gifts through concerts, competitions, and tent meetings across the years.

Jim Williams
Service/Song Leader
July 26–August 1

A lifelong lover of singing praise to our Lord, Jim is blessed to return to help guide worship at Patterson Grove this season.  He resides in Drums, PA and is an altar server, a cantor and the board president at St. Michael’s Orthodox Church in Freeland, PA.  His connection to the Grove runs deep, and he values the fellowship and shared faith that make this place special, and more than that – sanctified.  Jim hopes for all our actions of prayer and music to be humbly filled with joy and to deepen our relationship with the Risen Lord, Jesus Christ.

Brenda Nighbert
Pianist, Choir Director
July 19–August 1

Brenda lives in Forty Fort, Pa. and has been in show business for over 35 years and gospel music her entire life.  Brenda serves as Organist/Pianist in three churches. Throughout her career she has directed, conducted, and/or accompanied various performances at high schools, colleges, and professional theater in the region.  In addition to accompanying evening worship on piano, she will be directing the campmeeting choir.

Amy Duty
Bible Study Leader
July 20–24

Amy Duty has taught women’s Bible studies for many years and, along with her husband David, hosts fall and spring Bible studies in their home.  She is passionate about helping others grow in excitement for God and His living Word.  Amy holds a B.S. in Bible and a B.S. in Education from Cairn University (formerly Philadelphia College of Bible), as well as an M.A. in Theatre Education from the University of Houston.

Rob Barron

Rob lives in Bloomsburg, Pa with his wife Missy and has been a cottage holder since 2021.  He greatly enjoys facilitating adult and youth Bible studies.  Rob has served as a leader in various capacities for many adult and student ministries since the year 2000.

Portia Lerew
Senior Youth Leader

Portia is excited to be returning to the Grove this year to work with the senior youth after assisting with the junior youth in 2021.  She is looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do at campmeeting this summer!  Portia is a graphic designer and graduated from Bloomsburg University in 2022.  She and her husband Bryce live in Danville, Pennsylvania. 

Sandy Fritz
Junior Youth Leader

Sandy and her husband Josh have served Patterson Grove’s junior youth for many years. She has been a children’s ministry director at two churches and served as a missionary in India along with her family.  Sandy is passionate about helping youth deeply connect with God’s Word and a transformational relationship with Jesus.  Since she last led junior youth, the Fritz family has grown to five.

Morgan Gonyer
Senior Youth Assistant

A lifelong attendee of Patterson Grove, Morgan Gonyer is a youth program alum and current cottage-holder.  She returns to this role, bringing both a deep love for the Grove and a fresh perspective.  After serving in recent years as a VBS volunteer, Morgan looks forward to engaging with the youth and blending meaningful traditions with new experiences.

Connor is active in leadership at WayLife Church Community and looks forward to supporting the junior youth at Patterson Grove for week 1 this summer.

Gabe loves serving the Grove and looks forward to his debut role in youth leadership.

Jennifer Smith
Vacation Bible School Director

‘Miss Jen’ is excited for her thirteenth year as VBS Director, 24th year as a cottageholder, and continuing as a Trustee for Patterson Grove.  Jen keeps busy teaching pre-kindergarten for the Union Springs Central School District and is active in her school and home community. She and Ralph will celebrate 40 years of marriage in November.  

Kami Harvey
Vacation Bible School Assistant Dir.

Kami is excited for her third year as VBS assistant! She has come to Patterson Grove all her life, taking part in VBS and other youth programs at Patterson Grove.  Kami keeps busy running a small business, being a mom to Haysley, and spending time with her family.
