A reminder our Fall Clean Up day at Patterson Grove is Saturday, October 17th.  Work begins at 8AM and we will assemble at the Tabernacle.  If you come late, just jump on in!  Lunch will be provided at noon at the Boarding Hall. 

All cottages are expected to be represented. You are also welcome to do clean up before or after our official day. If you are coming and happen to have these items, bring them along – but if not, no worries, come anyway because we have our own supplies! All hands needed!

-Rakes, tarps, leaf blowers, gloves

-A pick up truck or tow-behind trailer to haul bundled tarps of leaves to the dumping area

Beyond leaves and picking up sticks, we will be putting the last of our ‘stuff’ for winter storage. There will be tasks for everyone regardless of age or ability!

If you are raking before clean up day, please concentrate on areas between cottages or up close to cottages because these are the hardest to get at.  On clean up day we will use the same technique as last year where we use volunteers to rake up piles, put them on tarps and then trucks to drive them to the dumping area.  If you find sticks, please put those in piles at the base of trees to be picked up by the small mower with cart. 

REMINDER : water system shut off begins Monday, October 19th. The water will be turned off for the season and work will commence to winterize the system.
